Pentru cei ce nu știu, Bishop a fost sub label-ul Aftermath al lui Dr. Dre până în 2010. A colaborat cu Dr. Dre, Warren G, Nate Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, Kurupt și foarte mulți alții. A lansat gratuit 4 “street albums” și 3 mixtape-uri și le oferă pe site-ul său http://bishoplamont.com/home. Revenind la interviu, nu am aflat foarte multe, dar mi-am împlinit un vis. Ne vorbește despre “Detox”, despre MC-ii români și proiectele la care momentan lucrează.

(ELADIO) For those who don't know, who is Bishop Lamont?
(BISHOP LAMONT) I’m just a cool and crazy dude sharing my music with the world, and finding my purpose in life.
(ELADIO) Do you work on your album now? Can you anticipate something?
(ELADIO) What do you know about Romania?
(BISHOP LAMONT) Yes, right now I’m completing my debut album "The Reformation", also a mixtape for release in sept called "The Layover", also my boy Dave NY's album "I gotta story 2 tell". I’m super busy with a few other projects.
(ELADIO) Do you know any romanian MC?(BISHOP LAMONT) Not as much as I would like to know and need to know. But my birthday is on halloween, so naturally I’m a fan of your vampire, werewolf, and strigoy mythology.
(BISHOP LAMONT) No.
(ELADIO) Let me show you some dope romanian MC's and tell us what you think (too bad that you can't understand but you can judge the skills and the flow) (He listens Cedry2k, Haarp Cord, Vlad Dobrescu, Paraziții & Puya).
OK, you heard some romanian MC's, what’s your favorite? Why?
(BISHOP LAMONT) 0k, I will check them out. Even though, I can’t understand them, I dig Haarp Cord, there is a real political message in the music. I also like Vlad Dobrescu, he’s a real mc and represents on real traditional hiphop beats! Much respect!
(ELADIO) We all waiting for Detox. You will be on that?
(ELADIO) You are an international known but you down with small local sites like mine. Why?
(BISHOP LAMONT) LOL Detox is gonna be called “Botox”, cause that’s what we will all need by the time it does come out! lmfao!
(BISHOP LAMONT) Because I’m not Hollywood, and fake! I’m all about reaching the people!
