"The concept of the record came about by a thought O.C. had in the Red Apples 45 studio. We made the title track, "Ray's Cafe", and after that I wanted to do the whole project like we are in a jazz cafe," Ray West describesthe recording process.
The EP is being released via Fat Beats and Red Apples 45, a record label, that Ray West started and runs along with another D.I.T.C. member, A.G.
"It's a dope project," O.C. simply states. "We captured the freedom that jazz music brings in our own way," Ray adds.
"Ray's Cafe" hits shelves on January 21st.
