(ELADIO) So this year Word…Life will turn 20 years old. How that feel? What memories turns in your mind?
(O.C) Word ..Life Is my introduction to the world what comes to mind is how the people /Listeners will take to what I’m doing musically & lyrically & hope to be accepted in the hip hop community that’s filled with a whole lot of other truely talented & gifted emcees in th era.
(ELADIO) Let’s turn back to the early days of D.I.T.C.. How the hole project started?
(O.C) D.I.T.C started with Diamond D & Showbiz and they added on over time thts the short version the long version is too long of a story to tell lolol anyway me and buck we’re the last members added on to diggin thts how we met an started working together through Lord Finesse.
(ELADIO) Any chance to hear something new from the D.I.T.C.?
(O.C) U have to speak to the other members about that..
(ELADIO) Some of your Romanian fans wanna know if you will do more albums with A.G. and Apollo.
(O.C) Me & A.G. are definitely gonna du more music together we’re a match when it comes to recording ,the total opposites but the same type of thinkers in certain ways. As Far as Apollo Brown You would have to talk to him about another record I’m down .
(ELADIO) You and Ray West got that new EP out, Ray’s Café. It’s an instant classic with the jazz influence. You got that on vinyl and cassette. How come no cd’s?
(O.C) Yea Ray’s Cafe is Ray West’s brainchild I’m just the passenger in the vechicle I think more ppl should take notes and let producers do they’re thing and compose ...I wrote the songs based on conversation’s and everyday life, as far as no cd’s you’d have to talk with Ray about that he has his reasons for his methods, both him & A.G. ...they’re partners u have 2 Geniusus on board,period.
(ELADIO) What do you know about the European hip-hop?
(O.C) I Know very little about ,What chu Say? European Hip Hop Hip Hop is a way of life or the 4 elements Breaking,Graffiti,Djing,Emceeing.. now if u mean rap artists in European rappers not too many that I know about.
(ELADIO) Any European tour on your schedule?
(O.C) Its up to the Promoters wanting to put shows together involving me which is out of my hands,you the ppl have to make a demand for the shows involving me.
(ELADIO) What do you think about the hip-hop nowadays?
(O.C) Rap Is kool nowadays some of it but you always had both guud & bad music, even in what ppl call ,
“Golden Era”.
(ELADIO) What’s your definition for the underground and commercial hip-hop?
(O.C) If you sell less than Gold (500,000 Albums) to sum up your ?uestion its considered being underground,
any over 1 million records sold is considered commercial b’cause your reaching a larger scale of ppl, it has nuthin to do with how or what the music sounds like .
(ELADIO) Almost forgot. A fan asked about Big L. There are more unreleased tracks? What about the documentary?
(O.C) No Big L urealeased joints he didn’t have a big body of work like a Tupac for ppl to keep putting out music unfortunately ,as far as the documentary you would have to contact someone dealing with big l’s estate.
