1. Who is Nina Macc and how would you describe yourself as an artist?
ANSWER: Nina Macc is a young, blessed and oh so talented artist coming from the West Coast. As an artist I'm something rare, I tell it like it really is!
2. Where are you from and what brings you into this Hip Hop game?
ANSWER: I'm from San Diego, California and I'm just trying to give Hip Hop a taste of Nina Macc cause it hasn't had anything like this in a very long time. And never this flavor. It's time to experience something different.
3.How do you differentiate yourself from the other female artists?
ANSWER: I'm my own bitch. I'm Emacculate, so everything about me is that. With an "E" not an "I" it's different. If I say it in my music then it is definitely real. I'm not into being extra'd-out, just a real boss bitch on some boss shit.
4. How difficult was the road to success?
ANSWER: Well... I'm still on that path. I would say it's definitely not an easy road but I wouldn't change it for anything.
5. Do you find it hard to be a female rapper in this game led mostly by men?
ANSWER: No, I don't find it hard at all. I'm in my own lane doing my own thang. Plus I work closely with a man. It's nothing.
6. Your debut single is "I Sit On Ya Face," can you say a few words about it like who is the main producer of the song and what it is about?
ANSWER: The record was produced by Shade Sheist and xXx Productions. It's a 100% true record. Some of the realest shit I ever said. Listen and learn.
7. "Memoirs Of a Boss Bitch," what do you have to tell your fans about your debut album?
ANSWER: My debut album is my baby. I'm excited for you all to hear it. These are my real-life memoirs, thoughts, feelings and words all combined to make an album that you all can enjoy and ride out to. This whole experience has been surreal though, I can't believe I'm actually almost done with it!
8. You want quality in your work, but do you think nowadays music still has good quality?
ANSWER: I don't think a lot of hip hop music today has quality. I think a lot of the shit that these rappers are making could be considered throwaway music. It seems like now it's about how fast you can get the work out than making the best work you can and then dropping it. That's backwards.
9. What about nowadays public? Do you think they are educated enough to understand quality music or are directed towards commercial music?
ANSWER: Well I think you and I both know the answer to this question otherwise you wouldn't be asking me this. The public has been brainwashed and it's time to get back to that real shit.
10. Do you think Shade Sheist is one of the best artists/producers from west?
ANSWER: Absolutely.
11. What projects are you gonna release in 2014?
ANSWER: I'm releasing my debut album MOBB and definitely more visuals from it. After that... stay tuned.
12. You represent Emacculate Music Group, what prompted you to open a record label for yourself?
ANSWER: I'm a boss and I needed to be my own boss. I wanted to do and stand for my own shit as the independent bitch and artist that I am.
13. What is your most notable feature you have had since you began music?
ANSWER: I haven't done many features but definitely Shade Sheist's "Still No Future In Yo Frontin."
14. What features would you like to have in 2014 as a new artist in the game?
ANSWER: I'm open to anybody from the coast that's reppin it right. It would be dope to record with Dr. Dre. But really I'm more concerned with getting this album out and letting the coast know about The Macc.
15. Which artists have inspired you and your rap career?
ANSWER: I've been inspired by Doggy's Angels, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Da Brat and Adina Howard. Some very talented women in Hip Hop.
16. What is the last album you bought?
ANSWER: DJ Quik's "The Book of David."
17. What are your goals in the near future?
ANSWER: I want to be as successful as I can. I also want to inspire other females to be independent, self-made and to boss up cause we run this world!
18. Thanks for the interview and much love and appreciation from HIPHOPDINROMANIA.org. Peace and stay blessed!
