(ELADIO): 1st of, thanks for accepting the invitation!

(RAWDEC): Thank you for the invite, it's an honor to be here with you! Especially since i see massive support from romania for my music!

(ELADIO): So who is Rawdec and how this rap thing started?

(RAWDEC): Good question man. Who am I? Rawdec is a 21 year old hungry artist trying to make it AND still stay credible. I've got dragged through a lot of dirt in the past, got kicked down by life a lot but got up EVERYTIME.  My mentality has totally changed in the last year and also my lifestyle. I've got a lot of pain and anger that i put into my lyrics and delivery. 1 thing you really need to know about me: I'm not a yes-man. If i don't like something i'll tell you, straight off.
Let's see.. First time i've got in touch with hiphop was in my early years (9-10) and it fascinated me from the very first moment. I think the first CD i've owned was the Slim Shady LP. But you know what? I wasn't into rapping at first but for dancing hiphop until i was 16 and i was more interested in the way of lyrics on a well produced instrumental. When i first met ''Blend'' he asked me ''yo, can you rhyme? Let's kick it!''. Obviously my first ones were not very impressive (haha) but that's how i've started out. And i think my hunger really started to grow for this whole rap shit in 2013/2014.

(ELADIO): How do you see the public nowadays? What do you like and what not about this new (and why not, the old) generation.

482939_418155644903632_1621940111_n(RAWDEC): Hmm. I think the newer generation expects that they get everything on a silver spoon without putting in work and talk too much but never do what they are bragging about. musically and in general...Not everyone though but i think this number has increased through media-control. I'm not an old cat and i don't wanna sound like that, i just grew up with people older than me, experienced and had to survive at a young age and getting my money on my own.

What i do like about the new age, we've got a lot more chances to establish and there's always a fresh spirit! So if you combine the old (experience) and new (inner fire) you get a great combination.

(ELADIO): Fans got beef over the underground vs commercial. What's your point of view?

(RAWDEC): I think a lot of people draw a straight line and separate artists from these 2 ''groups''. Of course, we've got a lot of whack cats with millions of clicks (one hit wonders) and mainstream cats who just rap about their jewelry etc. But here is my point: I wanna make good music, so does every artist that i know.

Example: Shady Aftermath has always been in the mainstream, had hits all the time and were still on point with their lyrics and delivery! I think big problem is the industry but today we are doing a lot better because of providing informations and advertisements through social media! Major Labels are not needed anymore, many artists back them self up with a Indie-Label. Whack music and good music has always been here, if it's the underground or the mainstream.

Just do you and try not to be someone you ain't just because you think this shit will get you into the charts.

(ELADIO): What you think about the European scene?

(RAWDEC): The european scene is def on point man.  Fucking with the real hiphop and the support is good! There are a lot of dope cats out. Im doing my stuff in english but live in switzerland, so i automatically watch how the scene goes down overhere. For such a small country we've got a lot of dope artists (not only MC's) and styles, i even formed a group called ''Undisputed Music'' with a longtime friend, who's in my opinion one of the most humble and sickest cats i know in here.

(ELADIO): Do you work on something right now?

(RAWDEC): I work on a few projects. The same time i was releasing my free EP in december 2014 (Misty Battlegrounds), i was working on the project ''Undisputed Music - Bad Habits'', an album, half english (Rawdec) and half swissgerman (MIC). Besides that you can hear me this year with Reef The Lost Cauze on the ''Swissproducers'' album. But right now, i'm focussing on another ''Undisputed Music'' album and my Solo Debut album, which i can promise, is gonna be great.

(ELADIO): Do you have any shows on your schedule?

(RAWDEC): Yes. I've got a couple of shows lined up in switzerland and working a few things out in the UK and Canada! Next date, which is confirmed, is in St.Gallen 5/16/2015. A lot more are coming this year, especially with our duo-group!

(ELADIO): What do you think about the white vs black meaning of making rap music?

(RAWDEC): I'm sure you refer to that discussion Lord Jamar fired at white people being guests in HipHop right?
Okay, let's face it: HipHop was founded by black people and to this day i'm still thankful they did.
It might be a genre started by black folks but does that mean they ''own'' it? I don't think so. Neither do the white ones the whole industry.
I can only speak for me, because i do me and no one else! I pay a lot of homage to people that influenced me, and so does
every white rapper i know. And god damn. We got to get over that bullshit '' Black vs White''. In music AND in life! We are all one!
